Taylor Swift Buys Her Parents a $1.4 Million Estate!

Taylor Swift doesn't drink, hasn't had a real relationship, and won't wear revealing clothes -- but she's an adult woman in her own right. The country star just bought her parents a Nashville estate... for $1.4 million!

Swift has made it clear that she is extremely grateful for her 'rents, who are by her side at awards shows and highlighted in many of her songs. How does she thank them? With a 5,000 square-foot estate that is newly renovated with a blue stone terrace and massive outdoor fireplace, of course!

"It's an incredible house," a source told Us. "Taylor's been visiting her parents there and she's so excited for them."

And her home shopping spree didn't end there. Taylor, who has been splitting time between Nashville and LA, finally caved in and bought herself some La-la Land digs.

"She is in L.A. so much -- and she was paying a fortune in hotel charges!" a source said.

Sounds like she'll have to keep divulging her personal relationships into music if Taylor wants to afford this non low-key Tenessee lifestyle.

Taylor Swift Doesn't Feel 'Comfortable' Taking Her Clothes Off

Taylor Momsen is totally fine with showing up to performances without pants, but don't expect this Taylor to shed her clothes onstage or in real life. Ms. Swift says she doesn't "feel comfortable" taking her clothes off, and instead prefers her modest wardrobe.

"I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles, but I don't feel comfortable taking my clothes off," she said (via Usmagazine).

"I wouldn't wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life, so I don't think it's necessary to wear that stuff in photo shoots," she added.
The country cutie also said people have stopped trying to get her to dress more provocatively -- she's not changing her mind!
And: She doesn't drink, and says it's because she "over-thinks and overanalyzes everything." "I worry I might come off in a way that I can't control," she said.

Taylor Swift Dines with 'Tron' Hottie Garrett Hedlund

Taylor Swift has been linked to her fair share of very famous, very handsome men. These days, she may be palling around with none other than Tron star Garrett Hedlund. The two were spotted dining together on Friday in Nashville, Taylor's home base.

A source told Us Magazine, "It was their first time going out. They've been emailing for a while, and she hinted they should get together."

"She has actually spent time getting to know Garrett. He's cute—and he's into country music! [She] likes that he's a normal guy."

Swift is easily one of the entertainment industry's most eligible bachelorettes, although any future boyfriends are going to have to be into eating home-cooked meals and avoiding trendy hotspots.

Taylor Swift: Getting Homesick on Tour Is 'Not an Option'

Taylor Swift spends a whole lot of her time on the road and has been able to see a whole lot of the world in her 21 years. She's eaten waffles in Belgium, seen castles in Germany, and that's just the beginning.

The country cutie said about her travels: “I've made it a point, and my band, we've all made it a point to remember everywhere we are. It's really easy when you're on tour to only see the insides of arenas and to try to catch up on as much sleep as you can. That's really easy to get into that habit but we try to make ourselves go out in every single place where we are and I'm really glad that we've done that.
"I really love to go out an experience where we are, I mean we started off the tour in Belgium so we all had to have waffles, and we have day trips on our days off. There's a castle in Germany that I'd always wanted to go see called the Schwanstein so my whole band and I took this day trip and went and had a look at this castle. It was so fun. When you're on tour you can make it a life experience too, it doesn't have to be work, you don't have to look at it like that.”
The 21-year-old singer is currently on tour and will stop in Singapore, Japan, Italy, Spain and the UK, among others.
All the travel does have its drawbacks, though -- it's easy to get homesick when you're away for months at a time.
In an interview with British station Radio 1, she said: “I do get homesick from time-to-time, but it's really a mind over matter thing, you only let yourself get homesick, like, less than a week until you get home. You can't get homesick, like, two days into the trip, that's just not an option.”
