'Wonder Woman' to Have Three Different Costumes

Wonder Woman will have not only one, but three costumes to wear while in action. When filming the pilot in March, Adrianne Palicki was snapped wearing an attire which is less shiny than the one she dons in an official picture from the NBC project.

Now, the network's president Robert Greenblatt has cleared up swirling report that Wonder Woman's costume is changed. He tells TVLine the new one is a second outfit from Diana Prince's closet. "We haven't made any changes from what was planned," he claims.

Moreover, there is a third look kept in store which will be more similar to the one in the 1974 series. "There was an initial outcry about the long pants - you know, skintight pants as opposed to those little shorts [worn by Lynda Carter in the original TV series]," Greenblatt elaborates. "But the shorts were always planned. They are actually used in the final confrontation when she beats Veronica Cale."

Responding to people's criticisms to the upcoming pilot when an early draft of David E. Kelley was leaked in February, Greenblatt says, "There's always critiques of everything. If we listen to all of that, we would probably never be able to get the job done." He, however, adds, "But it's always good to hear the feedback. I'd rather have people really passionately engaged in conversation, even if they hate something, than be kind of bored."

Greenblatt additionally gushes that Kelley's work on the pilot is good, saying "David's a great writer... and I actually think he'll bring an intelligence to [the show] that other ... writers might not. I think it's going to be interesting to see it cut together."

Joining Palicki in the cast ensemble is Elizabeth Hurley who will portray the villain, Veronica Cale. Justin Bruening, meanwhile, is cast as Steve Trevor aka the primary love interest of Wonder Woman/Diana Price.
