Bonnie Wright: 'Potter epilogue felt weird'

Bonnie Wright has revealed that seeing herself aged for the epilogue to the last Harry Potter movie was 'weird'.

Speaking to MTV News at the DVD launch for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, the actress, who plays Ginny Weasley in the film series, explained that she still found the experience fun.

"It was really weird," she said. "I think a lot of people - when I was in my make-up - said, 'Don't worry, you look good for 35!'

"It was really fun. It felt like almost being a different character entirely, because... being a mother with three children suddenly when you're young is quite big."

Wright, who said that she hopes the epilogue "finishes the films well", further added that she is most looking forward to seeing the Battle of Hogwarts played out on screen.

"Seeing the power of good really triumph over evil is going to be satisfying," she said.

After filming concluded, Wright said that she felt the film series "really ended on a high" and expressed her gratitude that it had not "become a negative experience".
