Blair Waldorf is indeed getting engaged on "Gossip Girl" before this season ends. After rumor swirling that the snobbish girl will get herself a fiance, she is heard saying, "I'm engaged," in a new promo video for the last five episodes of season 4.
The promo highlights Blair's relationships with three different men during the show, who are Chuck, Dan, and Prince Grimaldi. It hints that Leighton Meester's character will find herself caught in a love rectangle before she chooses the love of her life.
"Honestly, there are so many new, never-before-seen images in this promo, we feel a little queasy putting it out there," executive producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran tell People.com about the sneak peek. "But we are too excited to wait for the shows to air; we want fans to get a sneak peek. The last five episodes will change all of our characters lives forever."
Meanwhile, Meester gushes about the upcoming episodes, "The fairytale is back on." She has been previously spotted wearing a ring on engagement finger during the filming of the drama series.
"Gossip Girl" will return Monday, April 18 at 9 P.M. ET on The CW with "The Kids Stay in the Picture".
