'Black Swan' Producer Serves Legal Papers During Seminar

Movie executive Aaron Kaufman was left red-faced at the South By Southwest festival in the U.S. over the weekend, March 12-13, when he was served with legal papers during a seminar. Bosses at Overnight LLC, led by producer Rick Schwartz, are suing Kaufman, alleging his "gross lapses in judgment" cost the company millions of dollars.

Schwartz also claims he was denied a proper credit on "Black Swan" because of Kaufman, and a lawyer took the opportunity to serve the producer with a motion for default judgment during his public appearance at the festival in Austin, Texas.

According to New York Post gossip column Page Six, Kaufman had just concluded a seminar on film financing when the papers were handed to him on Sunday, March 13.

He has previously branded the allegations against him baseless and banded Schwartz "erratic and difficult".
