First Teaser Trailer for 'Conan the Barbarian' Is Ghostly

The first official footage from "Conan the Barbarian" has been shared in a teaser trailer. Not giving any clue to the story, the video flashes scenes from the movie in form of wisps of smoke. After several other characters, Conan appears in it and says, 'I live, I love, I slay and I'm content.'

This "Conan" movie remake presents a quest, beginning as a personal vendetta for the fierce Cimmerian warrior, which soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds. In the meantime, Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.

Jason Momoa is cast as the titular character, stepping into the shoes of Arnold Schwarzenegger who portrayed Conan in the original 1982 film. Rachel Nichols, Rose McGowan, Ron Perlman and Stephen Lang take the supporting roles.

"Conan the Barbarian" is made in 3-D under the direction of Marcus Nispel. Lionsgate Films will drop the action fantasy movie in theaters Stateside on August 19.
